Students must complete a total of five courses or the equivalent of 20 credits in approved coursework. This includes:
One of the core introductory required courses (1 course, 4 credits; recommended before enrolling in further courses for the minor)
Four courses selected from the six geographical and disciplinary areas (4 courses, 16 credits; each course counts for one area only):
continental Africa
the Caribbean and Latin America
the United States and Europe
Cultural Production and Expression
Historical Investigation
Social and Structural Analysis
At least one course at the 300 level or above.
