Art History Major
The major consists of at least eleven courses in the history of art. Majors must take three 100-level courses, seven courses at the 200 or 300 level, and one seminar at the 400 level.
Among a student’s courses at the 200 level or above, at least one must be in Architectural History and one in Museum Studies.
Students studying abroad for a semester may count no more than two courses toward the major (and no more than three if abroad for a year).
One of the following courses may be counted toward the major in place of a 200 or 300 level elective: ART 101, ART 102, ART 103, ART 104, or ART 105.
