Art Minor

A declaration of an art minor and a selection of an art department adviser should be made no later than the end of the first semester of the senior year. One AHI course at the 100 or 200 level is required.

In addition, minors must participate in the annual Art Department Student Exhibition in their senior year. Approval of all works for this exhibition must be secured from the minor adviser. In addition, senior minors are strongly advised to attend all departmental lectures and events.

Requirements

Students must take 6 studio art courses and any 1 art history course. Of the 6 studio courses, students must take at least one 100-level course, and at least 3 200-level courses. One of the student's 6 studio courses must be a designated drawing course from the list below.
