Psychology Major
Requirements
The major consists of ten courses.
Students who choose this major must elect the following courses
A score of 4 or 5 on the Advanced Placement Psychology Examination or its equivalent may exempt a student from Course 100.
Sub-discipline Courses
Students take 6 courses in the following three areas (Clinical and Personality, Social and Health, Mind and Brain). At least three courses must be at the 300-level or higher. Students are expected to either take two courses in each area, or three courses in one area, two in a second area, and one in a third area. Students can petition to count relevant FYS or Conn courses here or as an elective.”
At least one course from the Clinical and Personality area
At least one course from the Social and Health area:

One elective
One elective from a 200- to 400-level course in the Psychology or Human Development Department.
One seminar
The seminar can also be a course that counts in your Sub-Discipline courses or your Elective course.
