PSY 345 PSYCH, RACIAL INJUSTICE & LAW

Drawing on a social justice framework, students will learn about the laws (e.g., constitutional law, common law) and policies that promoted racial discrimination and the struggle for racial justice and equality in the United States. In particular, this course focuses on the ways legal, judicial, political, and economic social institutions fostered racial inequalities throughout American history, and their psychological impact on many racial and ethnic groups.
