Global Village
The Global Village (Knowlton House) is a living-learning community designed around the idea of fostering a community where domestic and international students can reside and engage together. Students interested in having a diverse cultural living experience are encouraged to select and participate in the Global Village. Residents of the community will be expected to participate and attend one program a semester within the community to foster community engagement. Knowlton House is home to the International Student Association lounge, the muslim prayer room and the office of the Imam. Students can also speak the languages they're studying over meals at designated tables in the dining halls. This schedule is published weekly by the new Walter Commons for Global Study and Engagement. First-year and transfer students wishing to live in the Global Village may indicate this preference on the Student Housing Form provided by the Office of Residential Life.
