CIP 295 PRE-MED PARAMEDIC INTERNSHIP
Supervised classroom instruction and talks in emergency medicine by paramedics and emergency department physicians culminating in direct observations at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital Emergency Department and in the emergency response vehicles. EMT certification is not required. The program should consist of a minimum of 45 hours of work per semester and submission of a reflection paper.

One hour of credit, marked as pass/not passed. Enrollment in the course is contingent upon approval by the pre-health advisor and the Hale Center for Career Development. Enrollment in CIP 296 requires completion of CIP 295.
