ART 300 PHOTOGRAPHY II
An intermediate photography course exploring the technical, historical, and theoretical underpinnings of contemporary digital photography. Students will approach the medium in its current complex and pluralistic states in order to explore a variety of photographic concepts and techniques. The camera itself is redefined in this course, viewing cellular phones, scanners, disposable cameras, and video cameras as equally legitimate tools for creating photographic images. Eclectic forms of output are encouraged in order to explore new methods of presentation.
Notes
A working knowledge of photography and DSLR manual functions are encouraged.
Enrollment Limit
Enrollment limited to 18 students.
