THE 367 THEATER REVOLUTIONARIES
Theater Revolutionaries and Agents of Change
A seminar exploring agents of change in theater practice and perception. How have different artists and communities celebrated and challenged how theater is made? Revolutionary theater-makers challenge our definitions of who we are and why we are, and use their art-making as a point of departure and a disruption. Students will study theater-makers' creative use of play, social difference, power, and radicalism as useful and necessary tools for the stage.
