MUS 202 VOCAL WRITING AND ARRANGING
This course introduces concepts and techniques for writing and arranging vocal music in pop, a cappella, and choral genres. Students learn voice types, vocal range, notation, harmony, and the technique of arranging for two to four vocal parts. Students’ original arrangements will be performed at the final class presentations.
Prerequisite
MUS 123 or
MUS 130, or demonstrate a knowledge of note-reading and harmony.

Enrollment limited to 18 students.
