MUS M115 PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS 1
Private instruction designed for students at an elementary level. Students receive one 25-minute lesson per week. Minimum practice expectation is one half-hour per day. To enhance their musical development, students are encouraged to take MUS 123 or 130 early in their study, and to enroll in an ensemble (MUS E220) concurrently with MUS M115 as appropriate and in consultation with their teacher and the ensemble director.
Notes
There is a special fee for this course to support specialized music instruction. Students eligible for the Jack Niblack ‘98 Music Lessons Program will be exempt from the fee. Additional information about fee criteria, exemption, and billing is available on the Office of the Controller's page. One credit (pass/not passed). May be repeated for credit. Permission of the instructor is required.
