FRH 444 GENDER & ECOLOGY IN LIT/FILM

This course examines how contemporary French/Francophone literature and film represent ecological crises, with particular attention paid to women writers and feminist ecocritical frameworks. Through close readings of texts and films, the course interrogates the ecological stakes of gender, race, and class. Students will also use the Arboretum to ground questions of narrative and place.
