THE 315A THEATER LAB: PROD LEADERSHIP
Extended work as stage manager, associate director, or designer for one of the theater department's main-stage productions or production coordinator for the senior capstone projects. Depending on their role, student works directly with the director(s), designers, technical director, and department administration, and may supervise students enrolled in THE 213 and 215. Theater Lab associated with the first production of the semester.
Notes
Depending on the role, at least one required stage management course, relevant design, or directing course, planning sessions with the director and designers as needed, and intensive leadership commitment over a nine-day production period. SMs lead weekly production meetings and manage rehearsals during six-week rehearsal process. Three credit hours. May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite
THE 110, THE 215, and permission of the instructor.
