COM 440 FRONTIERS IN COMPUTING

An examination of prominent cutting-edge technologies that make up today's computational ecosystem through the lens of Computer Science. Students will gain perspective on application of theory to practice through analyses and discussions of specific technologies with hands-on projects. Some technologies include cloud-based systems, hardware, AI, networks, edge computing, and blockchain.

COM 212, COM 219, and any one 300-level COM course.

Open to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors majoring or minoring in Computer Science.
