BIO 396 RESEARCH METHODS
Students will work as a team with the professor on a collaborative research project related to a professor's area of research. The research team will design and conduct experiments and present the findings in poster and/or seminar format. The class will engage a specific question with the goal of learning general research skills and specific lab or field techniques. The class will meet together for 75 minutes each week with additional time of at least 75 minutes required for research teams to conduct experiments as required. Students who complete this class will be well-prepared to conduct an honors thesis.
