ART 220 AUDIO-VISUAL INSTALLATION/PERF

Audio Visual Installation and Performance.


This course approaches sound and video as immersive media that span space and time, installation and performance, movement, architecture, improvisation, narrative and composition. Using body microphones, action cameras, projection mapping, multi-channel sound, augmented reality apps, and simple interactivity, students will create work ranging from intimate to architectural, building on each student's Arts background.

Prerequisite

Introductory studio / production course in any of the Arts, some experience with digital media of any sort (music, film, design software, etc).
