AFR 354 BLACK FEMINISMS, HEALTH & EDU

A critical examination of issues in contemporary black feminist thought with particular emphasis on education, reproductive health and justice. The course explores the everyday obstacles Black women face because of the intersections of their race and gender, and the ways in which they have reshaped social justice movements through their scholarship and activism.
