SOC 331 CRIMINOLOGY

A sociological analysis of crime and society. Through a critical approach, the course explores criminalization; criminal law’s socio-historical and contemporary roots; crime at the individual, group, community, institutional, and national levels; and criminal court. These processes will be studied in relation to power, social inequality, and justice.
