SL 104 TOXINS AND THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

While advances in chemistry have improved our quality of life, marginalized populations are disproportionately affected by neurotoxin pollutants such as lead, mercury, PCBs, and pesticides. Recent case studies of environmental pollutants suggest that they can have profound effects on nervous system development. Issues of environmental justice will be debated within the context of globally responsible use of chemicals.
