PHI 440E AESTHETICS AND NATURE
This seminar investigates the place of aesthetic values in environmental philosophy, science, and policy. Topics include the beautiful, the sublime, and the ugly in nature; the aesthetics of species and landscapes; and the relationship between aesthetic engagement and scientific practice.
