HMD 401 ADV RESEARCH SEMINAR
Advanced Research Seminar at the Connecticut College Child Development Lab School (CCCDLS) Supervised research at the Connecticut College Child Development Lab School, beginning with a review of research methods in Human Development and theories in early childhood. Students will design, implement, and analyze individual research projects culminating with an APA-style research paper or presentation. Research methods include case study, observational research, and experimental research.
Notes
This course will involve supervised research at the lab school that is part of the Connecticut College Child Development Lab School (CCCDLS). It will be divided into one seminar lecture and an average of 2-3 hours per week at the CCCDLS.
Prerequisite
HMD 111 and
HMD 201 (or another research methods course), and permission of instructor.
Registration Restrictions
Open to juniors and seniors with instructor permission.
