ES 100D INTRO ES: CLIMATE THROUGH AGES
CLIMATE THROUGH THE AGES. Earth’s climate fluctuated naturally for millions of years, and more recently as a result of human activities. This course investigates the reconstruction of past climates based on geologic evidence, and the science of climate change prediction. Topics include variations in global circulation patterns, past glacial periods, paleoclimate indicators, and modern global climate change.

Students may not receive credit both for this course and for any other section of ES 100.
Registration Restrictions
Open to first-years, sophomores and juniors; and to seniors with permission of the instructor.
Enrollment Limit
Enrollment limited to 25 students.
