ECO 209 INTRO TO EXPERIMENTAL ECON
An introduction to the methods and literature in experimental economics. In the first part, the course explores the most important techniques and locations (the lab, the field, the internet, etc.) for doing experiments, and illustrates the purpose of experiments, in particular measuring preferences and testing theories. In the second part, the course presents a number of applications that illustrate the use of economics experiments to investigate individual behavior in a variety of economic environments.
