CLA 121F MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY FROM LATIN
A systematic study of the Latin roots of modern medical terminology. Through linguistic analysis students will gain a working knowledge of how modern medical and scientific terms are constructed from Latin and learn how to deconstruct terms to understand their meaning. No prior knowledge of Latin is required. Students will receive one additional credit hour, passed/not passed marking.
