CA 225 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PRAXIS
This individual study course will support students in community engagement work related to their academic studies at Connecticut College. Enrolled students will work with a faculty mentor and a Holleran Center team member to construct a semester-long praxis experience (in-person or remote) to support community engagement locally or globally. The praxis experience will be guided by engagement objectives co-constructed with the community partner, and will include both structured reflection during the semester (2 credit) and a final culminating project (4 credit). The form of the final project will be determined in collaboration with the partner site to ensure mutual benefit.
