BOT 245 ARCHAEOBOTANY OF MESOAMERICA

Students will explore the relationship between ancient Mesoamerican cultures and their environment through the study of plant remains and cultural representations. This course also incorporates landscape-level analysis to examine how past societies understood and utilized plant resources. The course spans archaeology, botany, and ecology.
