BIO 120E INTRO TO BIOLOGICAL INQUIRY
STEM CELLS, RENEGADE CELLS, AND CANCER An investigation of eucaryotic cells, cell specialization, and the unregulated cell division that can lead to cancer. Emphasis on faculty-supported student-designed laboratory research. Students will develop collaboration skills, pose hypotheses, and learn to design properly controlled experiments. Students will collect and analyze data and will learn to clearly communicate results.
Notes
Students may not receive credit both for this course and for any other section of BIO 120.
Registration Restrictions
Open to first-year students. Sophomores may enroll with permission of the instructor.

Enrollment limited to 18 students.
