ART 300 ADVANCED PHOTOGRAPHY

A photography course exploring more advanced technical, historical, and theoretical underpinnings of contemporary photography. Through focused projects, readings, discussions, and independent research, students will become more familiar with various frameworks of photography and other lens-based media. In this studio course, methods of image output, lighting, presentation, display and dissemination will expand upon approaches carried from introductory photography courses. Knowledge of basic/intermediate camera operation, technical skills, and imaging editing are required.

One of the following: ART 200A, ART 200B, ART 236, or permission of the instructor.
