AHI 325 SECRECY AND THE INVISIBLE

What is the role of secrecy in controlling power and knowledge? How can art open new fields of vision and make visible the invisible? Reading across many disciplines, this course explores the history and practice of concealment. Students engage in critical reading of texts and images, curating an exhibit, and art projects engaging with the intersection of secrecy, power, and the invisible.
