STA 107 INTRODUCTION TO STATISTICS
An introductory statistics course focusing on problem-solving and decision-making. Students will have the opportunity to integrate real data with context and purpose. Topics include exploratory data analysis, data visualization, probability, correlation and linear regression, discrete and continuous probability distributions, and inference for means and proportions. Software will be introduced to explore concepts and analyze data.
Notes
Students may not receive credit for both STA 107 and STA 206.
Registration Restrictions
Students with previous credit for a 200- or 300-level course in mathematics must receive permission of the instructor.

Enrollment limited to 28 students.
