SOC 225 LABOR AND LABOR MOVEMENTS

An examination of labor and labor movements in the United States, including issues of work and family, immigration, and politics. Students will use social movement theories to explore the development, strategies and tactics, and outcomes of U.S. labor movements. The course includes readings from both sociology and labor studies to help students understand the context of the U.S. labor movement today.
