PSY 417 BIG DATA IN PSYCHOLOGY

Students will gain experience using big data and computational methods to conduct psychological research relating to neurobiological, psychological, behavioral, and health outcomes. Students will (1) manipulate big datasets, (2) access and scrape data from public data sources and the internet, and (3) employ computational methods for their independent projects.

No special equipment is needed. The programming language R will be used in this course.

PSY 201 and 202.
