MAT 100A QUANTITATIVE REASONING

This course is designed to support students for success in courses that demand a strong quantitative foundation. The course covers a range of topics, including percentages, ratios, proportions, scientific notation, estimation, accuracy and precision, unit conversion, evaluation and manipulation of equations, inductive and deductive reasoning, and descriptive statistics. These concepts are studied and practiced within various disciplinary contexts, with the integration of spreadsheet usage throughout the course.
