MILTON
Ambitious poet, revolutionary propagandist, free-press advocate, and would-be divorcé, Milton spent his later years blind and crying out to be "milked" by his secretaries of his great poem, Paradise Lost. Readings will include Comus, Lycidas, Areopagitica, Paradise Lost, excerpts from Paradise Regained, and Samson Agonistes.
Prerequisite
Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. For sophomores, English 250 is strongly recommended.

Enrollment limited to 18 students.
