ES 202 EARTH SURFACE PROCESSES

Erosion by water, wind, ice and gravity constantly reshape Earth’s surface. The course examines landscape evolution with an emphasis on recent changes that result from geomorphic processes.  Students will learn how to interpret landforms and their origins. Laboratory focuses on investigations of local landforms that highlight current and past action by glaciers, rivers, landslides and ocean waves.
