SOC 220 SOCIOLOGY OF THE ENVIRONMENT
This seminar focuses on the relationship between society and the natural environment. The perspectives of various theories are used to understand this relationship. This seminar also examines the unevenness in environmental problems and solutions. Readings and discussions cover a variety of topics that are important to environmental sociology including population, energy, environmental movements, pollution, technology, and food production.
