FLM 298D PRODUCING THE SHORT FILM
An examination of practice of film producing. The course explores the roles of the producer, the assistant director, and the second assistant director, and their duties in preparing to shoot a narrative fiction short film. Students will create budgets, schedules, call sheets, grant proposals, casting calls, and producer notebooks for a hypothetical film production.
Prerequisite
FLM 210 and permission of the instructor.
