AHI 204 CHINESE ARCHITECTURE

A survey of Chinese architecture and its building techniques, artistic traditions, and cultural values from 5000 BCE to the present. Examples include funerary, residential, and religious structures, cities and gardens, and architectural images found in paintings and artifacts. The role of Chinese architecture in shaping East Asian architectural traditions will also be addressed.
