FYS 100V RICH AND POOR IN AMERICA
An exploration of the economic roots of racial Inequality in the United States from the colonial period to the present. The course examines the critical role the enslavement of people played in the economic development of the U.S. and how that economic regime shaped subsequent state and federal policies which perpetuate inequality to the present day.
