EDU 104 INTRO TO CONTEMP ISSUES IN ED
With explicit attention to race, culture, gender, class, ability, and sexuality, this course critically examines theories/practices that address contemporary issues in education in support of holistic student well-being. Students will begin grappling with well-known education-based approaches to social emotional learning, (sexual) health education, and diversity, equity, and inclusion work (DEI), and what these might mean for educational praxis.
Notes
Students may not receive credit for both this course and EDU 103.
