MUS 215 INSTRUMENTAL/VOCAL STUDY
Private instruction designed for students at an intermediate level or higher.
Notes
Students receive one 50-minute lesson per week. Minimum practice expectation is one hour per day. May be repeated for credit. In certain cases
MUS 104 or
MUS 122 may substitute for
MUS 130 or
MUS 131. In addition to
MUS 131 students must enroll in an ensemble for at least their first four semesters of study. Two credit hours.
Prerequisite
Prerequisite or parallel: Normally, a student takes
MUS 130 or
MUS 131 parallel to the first semester of applied study; otherwise
MUS 130 or
MUS 131 must be completed by the end of the second semester of study.
