DOC 101 STUDENT ADVISING PRACTICUM
A two-credit course for undergraduates serving as student advisers for first-year students, including instructional sessions on academics, College resources, and mentoring strategies. Student advisers will be expected to attend training sessions, welcome students during orientations, facilitate workshops for first-year students, and attend common hour modules for their first-year seminar, as well as regularly communicating with the other members of the advising team.
Notes
Two credit hours per semester. This course may be taken for credit two times.

Permission of the instructor.

Enrollment limited to 80 students.
