BIO 330 MICROBIOLOGY

Structure and growth of bacteria and viruses, with emphasis on the role of microorganisms in genetic engineering, in the environment, and as agents of diseases, such as AIDS and tuberculosis.

Prerequisite

BIO 106 and BIO 208; and either CHM 103 and CHM 104 or CHM 107 and CHM 204; or permission of the instructor.

Corequisite

Registration is also required in BIO 330L.

Enrollment limited to 12 students per lab section.
