ART 235 ARTIST'S BOOKS
An introduction to the artist’s book, a format for exploring the interaction of text and image, narrative and sequencing, dimensional forms of the book, and the cultural roles of books and reading. Students will be introduced to an overview of methods used in making handmade books through projects exploring creative processes in traditional and experimental formats, and methods for generating original image and text.
Prerequisite
One 100-level course in ART.
