SPA 493A SEM IN ADV SPANISH LANGUAGE
This seminar improves students' spoken Spanish and enhances bicultural skills conducive to living and working among diverse populations in the United States and abroad. Students also develop guided research projects on topics pertinent to the Hispanic world.
Prerequisite
The course is designed for students who have previously studied abroad in a Spanish-speaking country; others may be admitted, by permission of the instructor, with a score of 45 or above on the department's Spanish placement exam.

Enrollment limited to 16 students.
