SOC 403 SOCIOLOGY OF INTIMACIES
A sociological exploration of how social, political, cultural, and economic forces construct intimate relationships across categories of race, class, gender, sexuality, and citizenship. Topics include love, sex, marriage, monogamy, friendship, partner violence, and how intimate relationships shape individual and collective identities.
Prerequisite
SOC 103, and a SOC course at the 200 level or above.
